Your Role as an Assistant Community Manager
As an Assistant Community Manager, you will partner closely with the Community Manager to support daily property operations and financial performance. This role serves as a key point of contact for residents and team members, helping ensure the community operates efficiently while delivering a high-quality living experience.
This position is designed to build foundational leadership and operational experience for future advancement within property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Community Manager with daily operational and administrative activities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, addressing questions, concerns, and service needs
- Assist with rent collections, financial reporting, and budget tracking
- Support leasing efforts, including tours, application processing, and lease documentation
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and resident communication
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely service requests and quality standards
- Assist with vendor coordination and service follow-up
- Help prepare operational, financial, and compliance reports
- Support community events and resident engagement initiatives
Our Ideal Candidate for this Role
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or leasing
- At least 1 year of on-site leasing experience preferred
- Experience with Class A or luxury multifamily communities or lease-ups preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as needed.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for this role for the purpose of routine outreach marketing and shopping comps; mileage reimbursement will be provided at IRS current rate.

- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi property management software preferred
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and grow
