Excellent position in a national apartment management company for a Maintenance Technician is now available. The Maintenance Technician will work directly with the Maintenance Director to maintain the overall condition of the Madison community. Role Responsibilities: • Work with the Maintenance Director to ensure physical condition of community is maintained according to company operating and safety standards. • Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner. • Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues that may arise including but not limited to the exterior, HVAC, appliances, plumbing, pool or electrical issues. • Work with service team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times. • Communicate with residents and maintain a timely completion of work orders. • Follow policies relating to but not limited to fair housing, OSHA, pool and safety standards set by Madison Apartment Group. • Participate in on-call emergency rotations on the weekends and respond to emergencies as needed. • Other tasks or duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director. Qualifications: • Well organized, detail oriented and efficient • Team oriented with ability to work independently on occasion • Ability to prioritize and multi-task • Ability to maintain a flexible, 7 day a week schedule • Valid Driver’s License/ High school diploma • HVAC certification not required, painting/cleaning/turnover experience helpful.
